Return and Refund Policy


At Beuk Appeltaarten we strive for the highest quality. Because we work with perishable food products, specific rules apply to returns and refunds in accordance with the general terms and conditions of COVEG.

 

 

 

1. Limitation of the right of withdrawal

 


Due to the nature of our products (fresh food items with a limited shelf life), the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers generally does not apply. Once an order has been processed and delivered, it cannot be returned without a valid reason.

 

 

 

2. Inspection upon delivery

You are required to check immediately upon delivery whether:

  • The correct goods have been delivered.
  • The quantity and number correspond with your order.
  • The delivered products meet normal quality standards.

If you discover visible defects or shortages, you must note this immediately on the delivery note or consignment note.

 

 

3. Complaint periods

 

If something is wrong with your order, the following periods apply:

 

  • Visible defects: These must be reported to us by e-mail (lekker@beukfs.nl) within 3 days of delivery.
  • Non-visible defects: These must be reported in writing, with an explanation, within 30 days of delivery (or from the moment you could reasonably have discovered the defect).
  • Invoices: Objections to invoices must be reported within 8 days of the invoice date.

 

 

4. Conditions for replacement or compensation

 

Your right to replacement or compensation lapses if:

 

  • The products have not been stored correctly.
  • The products have already been processed or altered.
  • The shelf life of the products in question has expired at the time the complaint is submitted.
  • The products in question are not kept available for inspection in the condition they were in when the defect was discovered.

 

 

5. Returns

Returns are only accepted after our explicit prior approval. If you return products without our approval, this is entirely at your own cost and risk.

 

 

6. Packaging

Packaging intended for reuse remains the property of Beuk Appeltaarten. You are required to return this packaging to us in good condition, clean and free of waste. If a charge has been made for such packaging, this amount will be credited provided these conditions are met.
